1 dead after apparent stabbing in West Sacramento. Police continue to investigate
One person is dead following an apparent stabbing Tuesday in West Sacramento, authorities said.
Officers with the West Sacramento Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance around 1:45 p.m. at a residence on the 1600 block of Riverbank Road, according to department spokesman Officer Scott Farnsworth.
Upon arrival, officers located one deceased victim with possible stab wounds, Farnsworth said.
He said it is unclear if the victim lived at the residence.
Detectives were on scene and investigating the incident as of 3:30 p.m., authorities said.
