Rocklin residents interrupted the burglary of their home Sunday, and now police are seeking help to find the would-be thieves who fled in a pickup.

The residents left their home in the 6600 block of Miravista Drive for only 15 minutes before returning about 7:30 a.m. Sunday and finding a man and woman inside.

Confronted by the family, the two burglars fled in either a Ford F-250 or F-350 diesel pickup with oversized wheels and four doors. The residents captured video images of the vehicle. Police and the family were trying to determine what, if anything, the intruders took from the home.

A police search of the area failed to find the burglars.

The man is described as short, white, in his early 20s, with tattoos on his arms. He wore a white T-shirt. The woman is described as white, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, in her early 20s with brown, shoulder-length hair. She wore a checkered shirt and dark-colored pants.

Rocklin police ask anyone who spots either of the intruders or their pickup to call 916-625-5400.
