A woman was arrested Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after she hit a pole and it fell across an Arden Arcade intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers responded to the intersection of Fulton and Marconi avenues just before 7:30 a.m. and closed both eastbound and westbound lanes, CHP Valley Division spokesman Sgt. Jeremy Wayland said. No injuries were reported.

Traffic flowed through about an hour later, he said.

Employees from the Sacramento Municipal Utility District also went to the scene, Wayland said. No major power outages were reported as of Monday afternoon in Arden Arcade, according to the SMUD website.
