Auburn U.S. Bank robbed on Monday
An Auburn bank was held up Monday by a man who escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber entered the U.S. Bank, 730 High St., at about 11:30 a.m. He demanded money before fleeing, Auburn police said.
No weapon was seen during the commission of the crime. He is described as white, in his late 30s or 40s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slender build.
He wore a dark-colored baseball cap, plaid shirt and blue jeans.
