The Auburn Police Department announced the arrests of two suspects in connection with about $20,000 theft at a church and said the investigation remains active.

Crossroads Church - South Campus, 1101 Auburn Ravine Road, had $20,000 worth of musical equipment and electronics burglarized July 26, police said.

Lt. Bryan Morrison, a spokesman with the Auburn Police Department, said the stolen items included an Apple iPad, an electric guitar and a piano.

Officers executed a search warrant Jan. 17 on the 100 block of Karla Way and arrested two people on suspicion of multiple felony charges.

Suspect Chandler Conway was charged with three felony charges of grand theft, burglary and conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Placer Superior Court, court records show. Morrison also said a juvenile was arrested in connection to the incident.

“Further investigations are underway for other involved suspect,” Auburn police said. “Stay tuned for more updates.”
