The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who died around July 2022 in the Meadowview neighborhood of Sacramento.

The man’s body was found in an advanced state of decomposition in a tent by the Sacramento River, across from the Bill Conlin Youth Sports Complex, 7895 Freeport Blvd. He died from acute methamphetamine intoxication, county officials said in a news release.

It appears like the 5-foot-11 victim had short brownish, gray hair that was wavy, the Coroner’s Office said.

Anyone with information about this man’s identity is asked to call the Coroner’s Office at 916-874-9320 or email DeputyCoroner@saccounty.gov.
