2 arrested in June homicide

Two males have been arrested in a south Sacramento homicide, according to a news release from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.

Eric Jay Stewart, 19, was arrested along with a juvenile in connection with the shooting and killing of 18-year-old Jamison Daggs. Daggs was sitting in his car at the intersection of Stockton Boulevard and Florin Road when he was killed June 11.

No more suspects are believed to be outstanding, authorities said. Stewart and the juvenile will have their first court appearance on Wednesday.
