The victim was walking across the parking lot when two males, holding what looked like handguns, confronted her and demanded her wallet. When she refused the demand, the suspects knocked her down and hit her, police said. She fought them off, and they ran away without taking any of her belongings. The woman suffered scratches and was shaken, but she declined medical assistance, police said.
The suspects were seen leaving in a small silver sedan, accompanied by some women.
Police said Target Stores cooperated and assisted in the investigation.
