Altercation between neighbors leaves one person dead in Placer County, Lincoln police say
An altercation between neighbors killed a person Tuesday in Lincoln, police said.
Police officers were called to a home on Earlton Lane just before 9 p.m. in the Lincoln Crossing area, the Lincoln Police Department said in a news release.
A person was pronounced dead at the scene and a suspect was taken into custody, the news release said. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office will identify the victim after the family has been notified.
It was unclear how many neighbors were involved in the altercation and what prompted the fight.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
