Father and son arrested at El Dorado marijuana growing operation
A father and son in El Dorado County were arrested on drug charges in connection with the growing of marijuana.
Officers searched two properties in the 4500 block of Ingot Lane in the Garden Valley area of northeast Coloma on Friday, recovering a rifle, 14 pounds of dried marijuana and 170 marijuana plants.
El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office SWAT officers assisted the West El Dorado Narcotics Enforcement Team in searching the properties. Gregory Gilman, 55, and his son, Dalton Gilman, 23, were arrested on suspicion of cultivating and selling marijuana.
Both were booked and then released after posting bail.
