Detectives need help to find shooter in Loomis drive-by

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office needs help in finding the gunman who fired a dozen rounds into a Loomis home last week.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the person who shot into a home in the 3500 block of Day Avenue about 3:40 a.m. July 30. Nobody inside was injured in the shooting.

Early leads in the case have dried up and detectives need the public’s help. Anonymous tipsters can reach Crime Stoppers at www.placercrimestoppers.com.
