Truckee police are trying to find a man wanted in connection with several felony offenses after officers responded to a report of a woman in distress at a shopping center.
Police responded about 5 p.m. Thursday to the Gateway shopping center at Donner Pass Road regarding a woman in distress and possibly in need of help. As they arrived, the suspect, Corbin Nunnally, 30, fled into a nearby subdivision, leaving the victim behind, according to a Police Department news release. Police, along with California Highway Patrol officers and Nevada County sheriff’s deputies, were searching for Nunnally in the Gateway area Thursday evening.
Police said Nunnally is wanted in connection with several felonies, including domestic violence, kidnapping, child endangerment and robbery. They said he is not known to have any weapons, but he is considered dangerous because of the nature of the crimes. Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach him, but to call 911.
Nunnally is described as having a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved, white button-up shirt and light-colored Dickie-style pants. Police said he may have changed clothes and could be wearing basketball shorts and a white sleeveless T-shirt.
