The woman who died in a car crash late Friday after her pickup truck fell into a culvert and caught fire has been identified. The identity of man with whom she was traveling has not been released.
On its website, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Molly Xiong, 26, of Sacramento.
The accident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Friday at Bradshaw and Rogers roads, according to the California Highway Patrol. A Dodge Challenger carrying three people was southbound on Bradshaw Road when it struck a Toyota pickup truck carrying Xiong and the other victim, authorities said. The pickup fell into a culvert and caught fire.
Xiong and the unidentified man died at the scene. Two passengers in the Dodge were transported to the hospital, but the driver did not need medical treatment, according to the CHP.

CHP officials noted that the Dodge was traveling above the posted 55 mph speed limit on Bradshaw Road.
