Police arrest Rocklin High School parent volunteer in alleged teen relationship
A Rocklin High School parent volunteer faced criminal charges after police accused her of an improper sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student, the Rocklin Police Department said late Thursday.
Rocklin officers arrested the 47-year-old woman Thursday morning, department officials said, following an investigation by Rocklin school officials that began late last year. She was booked into the South Placer Jail on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and annoying or molesting a minor under 18, and was released later Thursday on $50,000 bail pending a future appearance in Placer Superior Court.
“The Rocklin Police Department is committed to protecting minors, conducting thorough investigations, and holding offenders accountable,” department officials said in a statement announcing the arrest. “Allegations of this nature are treated with the utmost seriousness because of their impact on victims, families, and the broader community.”
The woman was “affiliated with a Rocklin High School-connected organization,” said district officials in a statement Friday.
The volunteer had been employed by Rocklin Unified School District in the 2024-25 school year, but district officials later barred her from volunteering on any of the district’s campuses during the fall 2025 semester after learning of the alleged relationship, district spokesperson Sundeep Dosanjh said in a statement.
School officials reported the allegations to Rocklin police, who opened an investigation. Police said that as the investigation progressed, the boy reported the alleged conduct to investigators. Authorities served multiple search warrants and gathered evidence that led to a March 11 arrest warrant and Woodall’s arrest Thursday.
