Car plows into Antelope drug store in would-be burglary, Sacramento deputies say

A car crashed into a Walgreens early Tuesday in an apparent burglary attempt, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. at the drugstore in the 4300 block of Antelope Road near Walerga Road in Antelope, according to sheriff’s officials. No injuries were reported.

Sheriff’s detectives believe that the driver attempted to burglarize the business but fled before deputies arrived.
