Roseville police searching for 3 men after home invasion at apartment complex

Police tape at crime scene

Roseville police were searching for three men who broke into an apartment during a home invasion late Tuesday, authorities said.

Residents were inside the apartment at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Gibson Drive about 8:45 p.m. when the men smashed a window. At least one of the robbers entered the unit, but all fled before officers arrived, Roseville police said. No one was hurt.

Police later recovered an abandoned minivan near the apartment that investigators believe was connected to the suspects, officials said.

Officers established a perimeter around the 300 block of Gibson Drive, closing roadways west of the scene near Trehowell and Castaic drives, along with several side streets, the Roseville Police Department said.

Police reopened the roads about 10:30 p.m.
