Suspect sought in Arden Arcade homicide, Sacramento sheriff says
Nearly 10 squad cars from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office lined Howe Avenue early Saturday afternoon as deputies investigated a suspected homicide.
Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Ed Igoe said the deadly incident took place at Prestige Wine and Liquor, 1050 Howe Ave. in Arden Arcade near the intersection with Enterprise Drive. Igoe made the announcement shortly after noon.
The suspect fled the scene, according to Igoe, and remains at large. The Sheriff’s Office did not release information about other parties involved.
“Still a very active investigation,” Igoe wrote in a statement.
