Two women arrested on suspicion of attacking Delta College student

Two women have been arrested Friday, accused of assaulting a woman who was on her way to class Tuesday at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton.

The two woman punched, kicked and dragged the student about 8 a.m., according to San Joaquin Delta College Police. Drivers passing by started to take interest in the commotion. The two women fled on foot and were picked up by a car parked nearby, according to police.

The attack was caught on camera and the images were circulated on social media by police. Officers received several tips and were able to identify the attackers Friday.

Kira Emhan Booth, 18, from Lathrop was arrested and booked in to San Joaquin County Jail. The other woman, a 16-year-old female whose name was not been released because she is a juvenile, was arrested and taken to San Joaquin County Juvenile Detention Center.
