Police seek ‘persons of interest’ in burglary of Roseville optometry business

Roseville police have released surveillance photos of a man and woman described as persons of interest or possible witnesses in the recent burglary of an optometry business.

The burglars broke into the store on Sierra College Boulevard about 4:45 a.m. Aug. 20 and took a large amount of merchandise, according to a Police Department news release.

Police would like to speak to the man and woman shown in surveillance photos and are asking the public’s help in identifying them.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s, with a shaved head and a bushy reddish-brown beard. He is about 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, long gray shorts and a black T-shirt with white writing on it that said something about coffee, police said.

The woman is described as white, in her early 20s, 5-foot-5 inches tall and125 pounds, with dark blond hair worn in a bun. She wore a white short-sleeved top with a scooped back and a short black skirt and has a large round tattoo on her upper back.

Police also released a surveillance photo of a truck involved in the burglary. It is described as a white extended-cab pickup, possibly a Ford, with a light bar or running lights on the cab and possibly dual tires. A business logo was on the door.
