Placer County sheriff's officials seek the public’s help identifying a man who is shown in surveillance video stealing a student’s bicycle from a bike rack at Del Oro High School in Loomis.
The incident occurred at 9:07 a.m. Friday. The suspect got out of a white four-door Pontiac sedan and used bolt cutters to take a girl’s mountain bike that she used to get around town, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
Sheriff’s officials said the Pontiac has a small white sticker on the rear passenger-side window.
The bicycle is described as a blue Cannondale mountain bike with red pedals.
