Stranger grabs, tries to kiss student in CSUS elevator

A stranger with a bike repeatedly tried to kiss a female student in a parking garage elevator on the Sacramento State campus on Tuesday.

California State University, Sacramento, police said the student entered the elevator on the north side of Parking Structure 1 along College Town Drive about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by the man with a mountain bike. The man said hello to the student and asked her to push the elevator button for the fifth floor, according to the police Facebook post.

Once the elevator doors closed, the man blocked the doors with his bike, grabbed the woman and tried to kiss her. The woman resisted and the man tried twice more to unsuccessfully kiss her.

When the elevator door opened, the woman pushed past him.

She described him as being 25 years old; 5 feet 7 inches tall; with short, black hair; and whiskers on his chin. He was wearing a black T-shirt. His bike had green rims.
