Sacramento, Placer rampage suspects make first court appearance

A Utah couple charged in a rampage Friday that left two deputies dead were arraigned Tuesday, followed by a press conference with Sacramento and Placer County sheriff’s departments, district attorneys and the Auburn police chief.

Prosecutors filed 14 felony counts against 34-year-old Marcelo Marquez and his wife, Janelle Marquez Monroy, 38.
