Couple in Yolo County motorcycle crash identified
A couple was killed Wednesday night when their recently purchased motorcycle hit a guardrail in rural Yolo County near West Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
They were identified as Lisa Ann Overman, 37, and Timothy Lee Overman, 39, of Sacramento.
The motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday at Old River Road and County Road 126.
The couple was approaching a curve at too fast a speed when the motorcycle hit the guardrail, according to the CHP. Both were wearing helmets.
