The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred over the weekend near Woodland.
Deputies were dispatched early Sunday morning to the 16000 block of County Road 98b and learned that several masked individuals, including one armed with a handgun, had entered a home and physically restrained four residents. The intruders ransacked the home, taking money and items of value before leaving in two vehicles, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
Sheriff’s officials said the robbery does not appear to have been a random incident.
