North Highlands home invasion robbery leaves two injured
Two women were injured when three men forcibly entered a North Highlands apartment Thursday, authorities said.
The three men entered the apartment by force in the 5600 block of Hamilton Street about 5:40 a.m., according to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department news release. One woman in the apartment suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and another woman was hurt but it is not known how she was injured.
The robbers fled with property from the apartment. The injured women said they did not know the robbers and there was no description of the men, authorities said.
