Young driver in El Camino Avenue crash in critical condition
The driver in a crash that closed a Capital City Freeway ramp at El Camino Avenue on Thursday evening is in critical condition, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Fire crews extricated the 18-year-old male from his vehicle after 8:15 p.m. Thursday.
The man struck the pole of an onramp metering light.
Three passengers reported to be in their 20s are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
