Traffic diverted from I-5-Del Paso Road area following police pursuit

Sacramento police report that traffic is being diverted in the area of Interstate 5 and Del Paso Road following a pursuit of a reckless driver.

The pursuit ended about 8 p.m. and police report the driver is in custody and passengers have been detained.

Police said the driver rammed a patrol car, but the officers are OK.
