Placer coroner identifies body found in Rocklin pond
Placer County Sheriff-Coroner’s officials released the name of the man whose body was discovered in a Rocklin pond.
He was identified as Nicholas Ceane, 26, of Rocklin.
Officers responded about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday to a call reporting a body in a rock quarry pond near the library at 4890 Granite Drive.
Divers recovered Ceane’s body at about 1 p.m. It is not known how long the man had been in the water.
The coroner has not yet determined the cause of death.
