Man injured in Oak Park shooting

One man has been taken to an area hospital following a shooting in Sacramento’s Oak Park area.

Police spokeswoman Officer Traci Trapani said officers responded at 8:16 p.m. to the 2900 block of 39th Street regarding a report of gunshots.

When they arrived, they found a male in his 40s with a gunshot wound not considered to be life-threatening.

She said officers were canvassing the area and talking to witnesses.
