Man shot to death at home near Broadway and Riverside Boulevard
Sacramento police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting early Friday at a residence near Broadway and Riverside Boulevard.
The killing was reported about 1:30 a.m. at a multiunit residence in the 300 block of Vallejo Way. The man, who was in his 20s, was shot at the doorway of the home, according to police.
Police do not believe the shooting was random. Detectives are looking into the possibility that the slain man and the shooter knew each other.
