Man sought after Sacramento woman reports sexual assault in her north-area home
Sacramento County sheriff’s investigators are trying to identify a man reported to have sexually assaulted a woman in her home.
The woman made a 911 call reporting that she had been sexually assaulted about 7 a.m. Saturday in her house in the 5300 block of Diablo Drive in the north area of Sacramento.
She said the attack happened after an unknown man entered the residence, a department news release says. She said she saw no weapons during the assault, and the man fled shortly afterward.
The woman, whose identity was not released, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff’s Department described the attacker as a black male in his 20s, noting that he may have suffered injuries to his face during the attack.
