Man arrested in Rocklin arson fire
Rocklin police have made an arrest in an arson fire that scorched a greenbelt about a week ago.
Milo Vukcevic is suspected of starting the fire on Sept. 27. He was arrested Saturday by police on suspicion of arson.
The city's police and fire departments responded at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 27 to a vegetation fire in the greenbelt behind 3104 Sunset Blvd. Several witnesses told officers that a man, described as a transient, was responsible for starting the fire, according to a Police Department news release.
During their investigation, officers determined that the fire originated at a homeless camp located along the creek and greenbelt. The fire burned less than an acre of vegetation before it was extinguished by the Rocklin Fire Department.
