One man was shot and another suffered a beating at a trailer park in the small wine country town of Plymouth, Amador County.

The two injured men were at the Plymouth RV park along Highway 49 for five days after arriving from Ohio. While there, they were processing at least 100 pounds of marijuana, according to the Amador County Sheriff’s Office.

While at the park, the men struck up relationships with prostitutes on the internet. On Monday evening, two men associated with one of the prostitutes came to the motor home and tried to rob the men with the marijuana, according to a sheriff’s press release.

A fight began with one of the alleged marijuana processors being shot in the face and the other being bludgeoned. The robbers were wearing hooded sweatshirts and white masks.

One of the injured men, who was only described as 28 years old, was in critical condition on Tuesday. The other, 43 years old, was treated and released from the hospital.

Lucia Magana Verduzco, 22, of Sacramento was stopped while driving from the scene, according to the press release. She was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery and attempted homicide.

Additional suspects are being sought. Detectives are interviewing those involved and reviewing security video.
