Missing 12-year-old Citrus Heights girl found with friend in Sacramento
Citrus Heights police say that a 12-year-old girl they were looking for on Tuesday has been found.
Julissa Magallon, considered at-risk because of her young age, was thought to have been picked up by an acquaintance in a maroon-colored, older model Honda sedan with tinted windows.
Police were called at 7:30 p.m. Monday to the 6600 block of Navion Drive to investigate her apparent running away from her residence, which is near Van Maren Lane and Skylane Drive.
Detectives monitored Julissa’s social media postings and found an address in Sacramento where she might be found. Sacramento police officers went to the address at about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday and found her visiting a friend.
She was in good health.
