A jury trial for Joseph Ryan is set for April 4. A trial confirmation hearing is scheduled March 1.
The three were arrested Feb. 12 in connection with more than 60 mailbox break-ins that had occurred in the Elk Grove area since Jan. 1.
Police and U.S. postal authorities said Elk Grove had experienced an unusually large number of such break-ins. Targeted were free-standing cluster boxes, which usually have about a dozen locked slots for individual homeowners and typically are in newer developments.
