Arden fire damages strip mall

Fire officials are investigating a two-alarm fire that broke out at an Arden area strip mall Saturday morning.

The incident occurred just after 5 a.m., when the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District was called out after reports of visible flames from the strip mall. Two separate suites were damaged by the fire, according to a department news release.

Arson investigators are working the scene, though the cause remains undetermined, the department said.
