Sacramento police are asking the public’s help in finding a stolen walker and tricycle that two children with disabilities used for therapy.
The equipment was taken Oct. 18 from the 2700 block of E Street. Officers contacted the residents and learned that an unknown male had entered their back yard and removed the tricycle. The same person then returned about an hour later and stole the walker, according to a Police Department news release.
The walker and tricycle were used by the victim’s two children.
The red Rifton brand walker and tricycle have a combined value of approximately $3,800. Police provided photos of similar equipment.

Anyone with information pertaining to the theft is asked to call the Police Department’s dispatch center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637. Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
