A man faces several charges related to the firing of a shotgun blast into the wall of his neighbor’s apartment in South Land Park, Sacramento police said.
Police were called to apartments in the 6000 block of South Land Park Drive about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, where they were told that a drunken man had discharged a shotgun from his apartment into an adjacent unit.
The man, identified by police as Kenneth Lee Brown, 60, fled on foot after firing the weapon, police said in a daily activity log. After an extensive search and some evacuations, Brown was found at a nearby apartment and taken into custody.
He was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County jail on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, negligent discharge of a weapon and violating probation.
