Yolo County sheriff’s officials on Monday identified a suspect in the stabbing of six people at a quinceañera party in the town of Madison over the weekend.
Daniel Portugal, 18, was arrested by deputies Saturday on six counts of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of probation, according to a Yolo County Sheriff’s Department news release. The attack took place at the Madison Town Hall.
Portugal remains at the Yolo County jail in Woodland in lieu of $135,000 in bail. No motive has been established.
The stab wounds ranged from minor to serious, but all of the victims survived, officials said.
