A personal trainer has been arrested by Roseville police for allegedly committing a sex act with a minor.
Mark James McKinley, 27, of Roseville was arrested by detectives Thursday on suspicion of committing lewd or lascivious acts involving someone under age 14 years and other related charges, police said.
McKinley developed a mentoring relationship with one of his clients, a young girl, according to a police press release. Their relationship included dinners and other socializing after workouts, accompanied by another young adult client, the release stated.
The girl’s mother told officers she learned in late September of inappropriate behavior that had occurred in McKinley’s home, according to the press release. Roseville police investigated and booked him into Placer County jail.
