The man stabbed to death outside a North Sacramento apartment complex early Saturday morning has been identified as David Goodier, 32.
Goodier, a Sacramento resident, was identified Sunday morning by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Sacramento police continue to investigate the killing that occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday near an apartment building in the 700 block of Bowles Street. Police have made no arrests and are unaware of a motive for the violence, but they say it does not appear to be a random act.
