Sacramento fire investigators are looking into three suspicious blazes that damaged numerous vehicles at a Natomas self-storage lot.
Firefighters responded three times within about 24 hours to extinguish blazes at the storage facility at 55 Goldenland Court, according to the Sacramento Fire Department. The fires were reported at 1 a.m. Sunday, 12:45 a.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Monday.
Sacramento firefighter-paramedic Chris Harvey said about 10 vehicles, including box vans, recreational vehicles, boats, a fifth-wheel trailer and passenger vehicles were damaged at the storage facility near Del Paso Road and Gateway Park Boulevard.
When crews arrived on the scene for the 4 a.m. Monday fire that burned two recreational vehicles, they spotted a person running from the scene.
