Q: Peter Standley Jr. was shot and killed in April. Do they have a suspect?

A: No arrests or suspects have been reported in the April 26 killing of 39-year-old Peter Standley at a North Sacramento apartment complex.
Police were called about 3 p.m. to the 700 block of Lampasas Avenue in the Noralto neighborhood, where they found Standley suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a story in The Sacramento Bee. Officers attempted life-saving measures until Sacramento Fire Department medical personnel arrived, but Standley was eventually declared dead at the scene.

At the time, police said preliminary findings indicated that two assailants walked toward an apartment just before shots were fired. The attackers shot Standley, then fled. Police said robbery may have played a role in the shooting.
