An El Dorado County man arrested in July 2013 after he was found photographing a woman exposing herself to children in a Davis park has pleaded guilty in federal court to receipt and distribution of child pornography.

Nicholas Robert Bowen, 63, of Grizzly Flat entered the plea in U.S. District Court in Sacramento on Thursday, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.

Court documents indicate that Bowen took a woman, Wenyi Xu, to a Davis park and had her expose herself to boys, ages 10 and 12, while he filmed the activity using a spy camera built into his glasses. They were arrested by Davis police.

Authorities said a subsequent search of Bowen’s phone and computer found more than 600 images and videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Bowen is to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Troy L. Nunley on Feb. 19.
