Threats against El Dorado High student investigated

Officers responded to El Dorado High School on Monday morning after threats were made to a student.

“In the investigation, a bus was detained, deemed safe, and sent to school,” said a statement from school Principal Charles Prior that was short on details.

Prior said school officials are gathering information and that students and staff at the Placerville school are safe. He thanked officers from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and the Placerville Police Department for their help.
