A man who died early Friday at a Camino residence after reportedly being involved in a fight has been identified by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office as 56-year-old Langley Pratt of Camino.
Sheriff’s officials said the cause of death is still under investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 2800 block of Elmer Street about 1:05 a.m. regarding an assault. When they arrived, they found Pratt unconscious in the driveway. Medics were called to provide aid, but Langley died.
Investigators learned that Langley and Dennis Renk, 38, had been involved in a fight, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. Renk was found at the residence and arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in El Dorado County Jail.
