Sacramento police seek help identifying three men accused of robbing a man of gift cards he had just purchased at a Home Depot store Wednesday afternoon in North Natomas.

Police said the three suspects, pictured in surveillance video, forcefully took a 64-year-old man’s shopping bag that contained several gift cards he had purchased at Home Depot in the 3600 block of Truxel Road about 3:14 p.m. The suspects are believed to have been near the man when he bought the gift cards and followed him into the parking lot, where they allegedly robbed him, according to a Police Department news release.

Police said the suspects were described as in their late teens or early 20s and they reportedly fled in a blue GMC sport-utility vehicle.

The gift cards were immediately rendered unusable and police said the victim may be able to have them reissued.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the three men is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department at (916) 264-5471, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637.
