Sacramento police arrest suspect in credit union robbery
A man suspected of robbing a Golden 1 Credit Union branch in Sacramento’s Natomas area nearly two weeks ago has been arrested, police said.
Sacramento police detectives on Wednesday arrested Nicolas Rivera, 21, at his residence. He was booked into Sacramento County Main Jail.
Rivera is believed to have robbed the credit union at 3280 Arena Blvd. at about 12:24 p.m. on Nov. 13. A Sacramento Police Department news release states that a man entered the credit union, gave a teller a note demanding money and fled on a bicycle through a parking lot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
Rivera was arrested without incident.
