Auburn police arrest man on drug and loaded gun charges
Auburn police arrested a 30-year-old man on felony drug charges Friday night.
After Jeffrey Weber Duke was pulled over about 10:20 p.m. for a Vehicle Code violation, police said they found methamphetamine and marijuana as well as a loaded firearm in his car.
The arrest took place in the 300 block of Elm Avenue, authorities said.
Duke was arrested on charges of transporting a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a loaded weapon. He remains in the Placer County Jail on $235,000 bail.
