The teen, just a few days short of his 14th birthday, was booked into Sacramento County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter, robbery and three counts of attempted robbery, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Officials declined to release the boy’s name because he is a minor. Homicide detectives are investigating the death.
